“Digitization of workplaces through 10 perspectives”
Digitization in working environment
Digitisation has integrated the virtual and the physical workspace. The traditional workplace models cannot fulfil the requirement of an evolving workforce.
According to Palumbo, R. (2021) HR digital transformation for utilising technology in order to optimise the business process. His opinion indicates that the purpose of “Hacking HR movement” is combining people together and developing community. Further, Digitisation makes the sourcing process of the organisation rich by predicting the effective team player for the organisation. HR digital revolution enables leaders to apply and design analytical tools for making difference in the organisation because analytical tools enable the employees to become more productive.
On the contrary, the perspective of Haddud, A. and McAllen, D., (2018) reflected that leader need to focus on the human aspect of employees along with technology for empathizing with them. His opinion focuses on empathy in leadership for understanding employees in the organisation. However, employee engagement is a major aspect of organisational success. He emphasis on the selection of HR software must consider the various need of the company. Papadimitropoulos, E., (2019) also focuses on balancing humans and technology because technology can effectively identify patterns whereas a human being is good at being creative, empathetic, engaging, and understanding situations.
Further, Papadimitropoulos, E., (2019) on the 7p strategy for developing relationships and value by effectively utilizing technology in the workplace. Tandon et al, (2021) emphasizes collaborative learning through digitization whereas Maria Papacosta focuses self-awareness of leaders along with technology. Furthermore, Tandon et al, (2021) also focuses on the benefits of digitization in the workplace. However, peoplehum. (2021) emphasize the importance of digital changes in the workplace after Covid-19.
Therefore, digitisation becomes a crucial part of the working environment because it enhances the capacity of organisation. However, focusing on the human aspect is equally important along with technology for or enhancing the overall performance of the workplace.

Having cutting-edge technologies can help you retain employees. If your employees become dissatisfied owing to a lack of investment in technology that can improve their productivity and/or provide them with flexible work options that are developing in the marketplace, they are more likely to depart. It will also be more difficult to attract personnel if you are employing obsolete technologies. A digital transformation can also help you boost customer engagement and loyalty, compete more effectively and enter new markets, increase productivity, and provide you access to real-time data to make more effective and timely business choices (bdo, 2021)
